နိုင်ငံခြားရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာနအနေဖြင့် အဆိုပါဖြစ်စဉ်နှင့်စပ်လျဉ်းသည့် အချက်အလက် မှန်များကို အာဆီယံအဖွဲ့ဝင်နိုင်ငံများသို့ ၁၁-၁၀-၂၀၂၃ ရက်နေ့ကပင် အကြောင်းကြားခဲ့သည်။
သို့ရာတွင် အာဆီယံအလှည့်ကျဥက္ကဋ္ဌက ထုတ်ပြန်ချက်မူကြမ်းကို ပေးပို့ခဲ့ပြီး အာဆီယံ အဖွဲ့ဝင်နိုင်ငံများထံ သဘောထားတောင်းခံခဲ့သည်။ ဖြစ်စဉ်သည် KIA သင်တန်းကျောင်းအနီး ခဲယမ်းသိုလှောင်ရုံ ပေါက်ကွဲမှုကြောင့် ဖြစ်ပွားခဲ့ခြင်းဖြစ်ကြောင်း မြန်မာနိုင်ငံက ထောက်ပြပြီး ကြေညာချက် မထုတ်ပြန်ရန် အကြောင်းကြားခဲ့သည်။
ဖြစ်စဉ်နှင့်စပ်လျဉ်းသည့် အချက်အလက်မှန်များကို ပေးပို့ခဲ့သော်လည်း ကြေညာချက်ကို မလိုအပ်ဘဲ ထုတ်ပြန်ခဲ့သည်။ အာဆီယံထုတ်ပြန်ချက်ပါ အချက်အလက်များသည် ထင်ယောင် ထင်မှားဖြစ်စေသဖြင့် အခြေအမြစ်မရှိသည့်အတွက် အဆိုပါထုတ်ပြန်ချက်ကို မြန်မာနိုင်ငံက ကန့်ကွက်သည်။
အာဆီယံအဖွဲ့ဝင်နိုင်ငံများအနေဖြင့် အာဆီယံပဋိညာဉ်စာတမ်းပါ ပြဋ္ဌာန်းချက်များနှင့် အခြေခံမူများကို တိကျစွာလေးစားလိုက်နာလျက် အထူးသဖြင့် အဖွဲ့ဝင်နိုင်ငံတစ်နိုင်ငံ၏ ပြည်တွင်းရေးကို အခြားတစ်နိုင်ငံက ဝင်ရောက်စွက်ဖက်ခြင်း မပြုရန် ထပ်လောင်းအသိပေး အပ်သည်။

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs notes the ASEAN Statement on the incident in Kachin State issued on 18 October 2023. The statement wrongly stated the incident of Explosion of an arsenal in Mong Lai Khet, Laiza area of Kachin State as a “Bombing of the IDP Camp in Kachin State”, based on unfounded facts from the biased local and international media.
The Ministry informed the incident to ASEAN Member States with factual information on the ground on 11 October 2023.
However, ASEAN Chair proposed the draft statement and consulted with ASEAN Member States on its contents. Myanmar pointed out the incident occurred due to the explosions of an arsenal near the KIA training school and informed Chair not to issue the statement.
Despite those communication on the factual information on that incident, the Statement was issued in an unwarranted manner. Therefore, Myanmar dissociates itself from the said ASEAN Statement as the facts are unfounded and misled.
The Ministry reiterates its call on the ASEAN Member States to strictly adhere to the provisions and fundamental principles of the ASEAN Charter, especially non-interference in the internal affairs of the member states.
