The Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Berlin grants the following (12) types of entry visa:

Application Method
- Visa must be obtained in advance of travel to Myanmar. Applications should be sent to the Embassy at least three (3) or four (4) weeks prior to departure from the country of origin.
- If the applicants are out of Berlin, can apply visa by registered post (ordinary postage is not acceptable). Please consider the postal period.
- Visa processing is lasting minimum 3 days (excluding postal period). For the some cases which necessary to get approval from concerned authorities take more time. Please allow sufficient time to get the processing done.
Payment Method
- Visa fees may be made by Cash, Bank Cheque (Please make payable to Embassy of Myanmar) or pay in advance by Bank Transfer (to Myanmar Embassy Bank Account).
- No personal cheque or bank transfer to personal account will be accepted under any circumstances.
- All payments must be in Euro. Payment can be combined in one cheque if application is for more than one applicant.
- For return mailing, enclose a registered return envelope. (large enough to hold the passport for safe return)
- For international return mailing, enclose a postage fee of minimum 10 Euro in cash. (Cheque and bank transfer are not accepted. International coupons for postage fee are not accepted.)

Requirements for Photographs
- Recent original passport size colour biometric photos with white background. (Not more than 6 months old)
- Position must be look directly to the camera (portrait style) showing both edges of the face clearly.
Note
Validity for all type of visas is 3 months from the date of issue. In this connection, visa applicants are requested to kindly check their actual travel date and expected date of arrival to Myanmar before applying the visa. Children also require applying separate visa even if travelling on their parent’s passport.
All necessary documents attached to visa application must be completed as described. The Embassy will not take any responsible for the applicants who did not provide completed information and documents for visa application.
